Task 2 - Exploration

INSTRUCTIONS

Task 2:

1. Recap this task (summarise your understanding of what you are required to do).

- For our task 2, we are required to reupload our chosen design from task 1 and then conduct a visual analysis of the artwork in 300 - 400 words. We must refer back to our lecture notes in order to know the step-by-step guide. After that, we are to sketch 3 sketches that is inspired by our chosen artwork.

3. Visual Analysis.

Phase 1: Observation.
This artwork was designed in a portrait format. The biggest, most noticeable feature of this artwork is the head of a human that consists of a brain taking a dump and the waste is being transferred to the mouth. It shows a message that the mouth will always blurt out the things that a person is thinking, and sometimes, those thoughts are not good. Other than that, on the left side of the poster, it shows a venue of some sort, assuming that this poster was made for an artist called "Pearl Jam". On the right side of the poster, more towards the bottom part, it shows the date and other artists that are featured in this show.

Phase 2: Analysis.
